Development Center
The Development Center (DC) provides a holistic, comprehensive approach to workforce readiness and development through a variety of learning and development opportunities. Responsible for major on-boarding programs for the organization including New Hire Orientation, Department Orientation, New Manager Orientation, the Administrative Support Training Program (ASTP) and the CMA/LPN Clinical Training Program.
Additional professional development is offered by the DC through its Departments of Learning (DOL) which support ongoing professional development to SCF employees. The DOL include the following: Customer Service & Communication, Wellness, Clinical, Safety, Computers & Technology, Management & Supervision, Professional & Technical Writing, Accreditation, Compliance, Quality Improvement, and Human Resources.
Through the SCF Educational Assistance Program the DC offers scholarships, academic leave, and career counseling to employees seeking higher education-providing resources and a support system to foster continued learning and development for the SCF workforce.
