Willa's Way Safe Home Program

A comprehensive safe home program for victims of Domestic Violence, the Willa's Way Safe Home Program (WWSHP) serves Alaska Native and American Indian women and their children who are homeless due to Domestic Violence. Children under the age of 18, including boys, are considered for admission with their mother.

Services include: Intense case management involving housing, mental health counseling, group counseling addressing a range of topics including parenting, domestic violence, relationships, community resources, life skills, health and wellness.

The primary focus of the program is self sufficiency. The duration of the WWSHP is a 45-day stay contingent on follow-through on steps for becoming self sufficient.
